NaviNet MFD70 Beta Program Terms
1. General
The beta program is intended for users who wish to participate in testing the NaviNet MFD70 display system and related products under development.
2. Product Nature
The participant understands that this is an experimental beta product and that software or hardware issues, service interruptions, interface changes or temporary unavailability may occur.
3. User Responsibility
The beta system is not a substitute for certified marine navigation or control systems. The participant is fully responsible for safe operation.
4. Data Collection and Feedback
NaviNet may collect technical logs, usage information and feedback solely for improving the product.
5. Privacy
Personal information will not be sold to third parties and will only be used for support, updates and communication.
6. Updates and Changes
NaviNet may update software, modify features or terminate the beta program.
7. Participant Status
Participant status may be Pending, Approved, Beta Active, Completed or Purchased.
8. Limited Liability
Use of the beta system is entirely at the participant's own risk.
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of NaviNet.
10. Participant Limitation
NaviNet reserves the right to limit the number of participants.
11. Beta Process, Payments and Refunds
The beta program lasts approximately 3 months from receipt of the device.
Step 1 – Registration, Acceptance of Terms and Participation Approval
The applicant must complete the registration form and accept these Beta Program Terms. NaviNet may approve or reject the application.
Step 2 – Beta Program Fee
Before shipment, the participant shall pay USD 220.
Step 3 – Beta Period
The participant agrees to use the product responsibly, provide feedback and report significant issues.
Step 4 – End of Beta
At the end of the beta program, the participant may choose one of the following options:
- Return the device to NaviNet in good working condition and receive a refund of USD 80 after inspection.
- Keep the device and purchase it at the special beta price of USD 470. Since USD 220 has already been paid, the remaining balance is USD 250.
Refund Policy
The beta program fee is refundable only as stated above and subject to the device being returned in acceptable condition.
