Beta Program Terms

1. General
The beta program is intended for users who wish to participate in testing the NaviNet Autopilot Display system and related products that are under development, testing, and improvement.

2. Product Nature
The participant understands that this is an experimental beta product and that software or hardware issues, service interruptions, partial or inaccurate information, interface or function changes, and temporary service unavailability may occur.

3. User Responsibility
The participant is responsible for using the system carefully and reasonably. The beta system is not a substitute for certified and approved marine navigation or control systems.

4. Data Collection and Feedback
The participant agrees that NaviNet may collect feedback, technical usage data, logs, issue reports, version data, and additional technical information. This information will be used only to improve the system.

5. Privacy
NaviNet will not sell personal information to third parties. Information may be used for contacting the participant, version updates, technical support, and system notifications.

6. Updates and Changes
NaviNet may update software versions, change functions and features, limit access to services, or temporarily or permanently terminate the beta program.

7. Participant Status and Feedback
Each participant may see a personal status such as Pending, Approved, Beta Active, Completed, Returned, or Purchased. Participants may be asked to submit feedback forms to improve the system.

8. Limited Liability
Use of the system is at the participant’s sole responsibility. NaviNet shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage, data loss, loss of use, equipment malfunction, or any other damage arising from the beta system.

9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the system, software, design, and services belong solely to NaviNet.

10. Participant Limitation
NaviNet reserves the right to limit the number of participants in the beta program.

11. Beta Process, Payments, and Refunds
The beta program lasts approximately 3 months from receipt of the device.

Step 1 — Registration, Terms Acceptance, and Participation Approval
To join the beta program, the applicant must complete the registration form and read and accept these Beta Program Terms. After reviewing the registration, NaviNet may approve the participant, reject the request, or limit the number of participants in the beta program.

Step 2 — Beta Program Fee
Upon approval and before shipment of the device, the participant will pay the beta program fee:

  • NAP70: USD 165 plus USD 45 shipping and PayPal fees.
  • NAP70 PRO: USD 245 plus USD 45 shipping and PayPal fees.

Payment must be completed before the device is shipped.

Step 3 — Beta Period
During the beta period, the participant agrees to use the product reasonably and carefully, provide feedback when requested, and report significant issues.

Step 4 — Ownership
Upon completion of the beta program, the participant may keep the device permanently. No return of the device is required unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Refund Policy
A participant may cancel participation and receive a full refund only if the device has not yet been shipped. Once the device has been shipped, the beta program fee is non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

12. Agreement
Approval of these terms constitutes full agreement and commitment to all conditions listed above.
